According to official data, 11 out of the 65 listed Cyprus Stock Exchange companies paid dividend to their shareholders in 2016.  In fact, only 4 of those companies pay regular dividends to their shareholders since 2010.

The dividend-paying companies for 2016 are the following: Petrolina Holdings (€0.076 per share), Vassilico Cement Works (€0.160 per share), Atlantic Insurance (€0.085 per share), Logicom (€0.050 per share), Stademos Hotels (€0.030 per share), Apollo Investment Fund (€0.040 per share), Salamis Tours (€0.015 per share), KEO (€0.253 per share), Alkis H. Hadjikyriacos (Frou-Frou) (€0.010 per share), Lordos Hotels (€0.010 per share) and Blue Island (€0.024 per share). Out of these companies, Petrolina Holdings, Logicom and Atlantic Insurance maintain the most stable dividend policy over the years with dividend returns amounting to 7.9%, 6.1%, and 7.39% respectively.

Apart from dividend return, shares of most of these companies also experienced an appreciation on their share prices for 2016. In fact, 9 out of the 11 companies experienced positive returns for 2016.
